Combined Lake and River Tour
Join us on Tuesday, September 21 at 7:00 pm for a Combined Lake and River Tour! This 90 minute tour is a comprehensive overview of Chicago, offering breathtaking views of Chicago's magnificent skyline and an up-close perspective from the Chicago River. The 90 minute tour feature live narration highlighting Chicago's rich history and architecture. This signature tour of Lake Michigan and Chicago River also includes a trip through the Chicago Lock.

Tour of St. James Chapel in Archbishop Quigley Center
After our last breakout session on Monday, September 20th, we will offer a special tour of St. James Chapel, located inside Archbishop Quigley Center at 103 E. Chestnut, Chicago, IL.

Inquire at the NCDC desk about this tour, taking place on Monday, September 20th at 5:00pm. Registration is not necessary.

About St. James Chapel:
St. James Chapel is modeled after Sainte Chapelle in Paris, France, also known as the crown jewel of Chicago's architecture. For over 75 years, the chapel has served as a place of education and worship for students of the Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary. Through the years, it has become a place of meditation and the artistic inspiration for persons of all faiths.

Welcome to Chicago Gala
Chicago will certainly be your kind of town at Monday night's Gala. Traditionally one of the highlights of the Conference, the Gala will be held at beautifully historic Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary, a short walk from the Marriott. Enjoy a "taste of Chicago" while swinging with the big band sound. Cost of admission is included with your Conference fee.

Vespers With His Eminence Cardinal Francis George, OMI
We are excited to offer a special opportunity at our Conference-Vespers (evening prayer ser-vice) with His Eminence Cardinal Francis George, OMI, of the Arch-diocese of Chicago.

His Eminence Cardinal George, OMI will preside at St. James Chapel on Monday, September 20th at 6:00 pm. Vespers immediately follow the tour of the St. James Chapel.

About His Eminence Cardinal Francis George, OMI: Cardinal Francis George is the first native Chicagoan to become Archbishop of Chicago and the thirteenth ordinary for Chicago since its establishment as a diocese in 1843. He is the sixth Cardinal to lead the Archdiocese of Chicago's 2.3 million Catholics. He also serves as president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). He is also the first Cardinal to visit all 363 parishes, and to communicate in three languages.
