ABOUT NCDC

NCDC leads Catholic organizations toward excellence in their development ministries by providing opportunities for growth in leadership and excellence through conferences and networking.

As the United States' largest association of religious philanthropies, NCDC affirms the mission of each of its members by working for and with them as fundraisers.

Accountability and Ethics
The hallmark of NCDC is the promotion of the integrity of its member organizations to donors, the media and the general public. To this end, all members are required to fully disclose financial information to donors, in accord with the ethical guidelines outlined in NCDC's Precepts of Stewardship and the U.S. Bishops' Guidelines for Fund-Raising in the United States.

Services and Programs
Central to NCDC's existence are the many services provided to its membership: timely legislation and postal-related reports, regional seminars, the annual Development Conference and Exposition, informative publications, print and audio resources and other specialized services geared to meet member needs.

Representation
NCDC actively represents the interests of its members through strong affiliations with many national philanthropic and professional organizations.

Exchange and Network

From its inception over 35 years ago, NCDC's National Office has served as the hub in the membership wheel: a unifying network for members and leaders in the world of religious philanthropy to exchange fund-raising ideas and techniques. The caring and professional staff is always attuned to the special needs and concerns of its constituency and eager to assist in every way possible.
